Variegated Sweet Flag (Acorus calamus variegatus)
Variegated Sweet Flag (Acorus calamus variegatus) is like a combination of an aquatic iris and aquatic grasses with tall variegated foliage. The structure of the plant (growing from rhizomes) looks like an iris, however, it does not bloom like an iris. The flower is most similar to those of the monocots.
