Common Cattail (Typha latifolia)
Common Cattails are a large bog plant growing up to 7 feet out of the water. Cattails get large catkins in mid-late summer, making a nice accent plant for medium to large water gardens. Common Cattails can be good for natural water filtration, such as in bog filters.

Planting Container: We recommend a 10 x 6 solid planting container or a Large planting bag.
Light Requirements: full sun to part shade
Height: 6'-7' - Spread: Large Spread - Running Rhizomes
Water Depth: Moist soil or water to several feet deep (Maximum water depth is for mature bog plants)
